Description

The Panner is a relatively simple effect, but it’s very handy. Essentially, it takes an input signal and splits it into two buffered outputs, one of which (the dry signal) heads directly to the Pan pot, and the other of which heads out in a send and return configuration (the wet signal) before returning to the Pan pot. The Pan pot then swivels between grounding out the dry signal for a full wet (effected) output, and grounding out the wet signal for a full dry (clean) output. This is very useful, particularly with effects that could benefit from some clean signal being blended back in with the effect. Simply place another PCB in the effect loop of the Panner, and away you go!
